Reference Transactions per capita, 1991-2002

Abstract

Reference transactions per capita rose over the period reflecting an increase in library services. There is an interesting pattern here, though with the very largest libraries having the greatest number with the smallest libraries having the second largest transactions per capita. The second and third quartile libraries grew at the highest rates, however.

There is a Rank Order Table for this variable in 2002 and a summary table of the ranks by state from 1992-2002.
