FTE ALA-MLS Librarians per 25,000 population, 1991-2002

Abstract

The number of ALA-MLS Librarians increased during the period for each group. However, note that the number of librarians in each quartile is directly related to the size of each group's libraries. For many variables, the per capitas are inversely related to the size of the library.

There is a Rank Order Table for this variable in 2002 and a summary table of the ranks by state from 1992-2002.
