Single Variable Plots

The simplest kind of plot is of one variable through the years of the series. In this case, I chose staff as a start and have here plots of two state libraries and two of total library staff in a state.

• Total staff in West Virginia public libraries, 1992-2001, from State Summary data. Note the change from 2000-2001. From the State Summary data.
• Total staff at the Wisconsin State Library, 1994-2001. From the State Library Agencies data. This graph is pretty dramatic.
• Total Staff in Oregon public libraries, 1992-2001. Again, from the State Summary data. A different story from the one we see in West Virginia.
• Total staff at the West Virginia Library Commission, 1994-2001. From the State Library Agencies data.
