Stephen M. Kennedy

Stephen Kennedy graduated from Macomb College in Warren, Michigan. He has held position in state government as MIS Manager in the Department of Employment Security, Project Manager of Welfare Reform/ Welfare to Work, Technical Coordinator of Workforce Investment Act and One Stop, Commissioner of Administrative Services and CFO/CIO, State of New Hampshire, and Director of Plant and Property Management (purchasing).

In the area of government relations/marketing, Mr. Kennedy has worked at Bull Worldwide Information Systems, was Director, State and Local Government Marketing for Honeywell-Bull Information systems, and was a direct report to the president and vice president/general manager for intergovernmental relations. His duties including reviewing corporate polices and marketing objectives with state procedures, developing products for national sales campaigns, prototyping and beta testing contemporary solutions for state and local government, and reviewing financial feasibility of marketing efforts.

In his various positions, Mr. Kennedy has provided linkages between federal and state government agencies and departments. He is a member of the Interstate Conference of Employment Security Agencies (ICESA), the American Public Welfare Association (APWA), the National Governors' Association (NGA), and the National Conference of State Legislators (NCSL).
